Join us for an Evening of Story, Music, Laughter and Peace. Tickets are FREE, but you must register by clicking here (see Admission Information for details).
 
A Jewish-American teenager is sent to Israel to connect with her past…and returns home with an extraordinary story that will take her many, many years to share. Come hear best-selling novelist MICHELLE COHEN CORASANTI as she recounts the profound personal experience that led her to write The Almond Tree, the book that is touching hearts and souls all over the world.

With the Inspiring Music of two renowned international artists who have devoted their lives to the struggle for Human Rights: Israeli singer-songwriter DAVID BROZA and Palestinian singer- songwriter MIRA AWAD, together in concert, Live On-Stage at The Stanley.

Listen to the honest stories of Michelle, David and Mira. Three people whose experiences and perspectives shed light on the past and express a hopeful vision for the future. Take the opportunity to participate in the audience Q & A.

This informative and entertaining evening will be emceed by GUILLERMO FESSER, popular Spanish TV & Radio talk-show host.

Admission Information
Due to an anonymous sponsor, tickets are FREE for MVCC students, faculty, and staff. If you'd like to attend, you MUST "register" for the event by 4/19/13. To "register," simply click the "register" icon at the top of this event listing, or visit http://calendar.mvcc.edu/EventRegistration.aspx?Rid=61&Iid=5321&Frm= and follow directions. We will send the registration list to the Stanley on 4/19/13 and will-call tickets will be available at the Stanley Box Office on evening of performance.

Remarks
MVCC students receiving DGV credit will need to pick up their ticket and "sign-in" at the Stanley will-call Box Office window.
