Since 2008, the band 10BLADE has been making a lot of noise in the local and national music scenes. This fierce, in-your-face, energetic band from Forest Hill, Maryland is prepared to bring its hard-hitting style to the forefront and shake the very foundations of the modern rock community.

Comprised with five musicians from all music genres, April Joynes anchors the backbone of the rhythm sectio...n, driving the steady rock tempo alongside A.J. "Big Red" Albright’s explosive low-end explosive bass beats. Partners in crime since the middle school days, Doug Carpenter and Lloyd Woolridge round out the strings, battling back and forth with the powerful riffs 10Blade has become known for. Frontman Rio Hiett has transformed and redefined his sultry R&B roots into a rock driven vocal ensemble, tying 10Blade together to form their own authentic identity.

In 2011, 10Blade signed with a national label, Tate Music Group, and released their debut album Torn Between in 2012, featuring “a powerful compilation of songs” including fan favorites such as “Dreamstealer,” “Together,” and “Take This.” Since 98 Rock’s selection of the group as Baltimore’s Band of the Month for April 2012, 10Blade has had the opportunity to share the stage with Charm City Devils, Taproot, Hawthorne Heights, Lizzy Borden, Self Centered, Silvertung, Loving the Lie, Versus the Earth, Psychostick, Madrone, Ghosts of War, and many others. They also have a good rapport with Baltimore Sound Management, Starleigh Entertainment, Shockwave Magazine, and 98 Rock.
